Loading and managing lists

The following instructions are for buyers who are accessing Source through our user portal. If you are using our API suite, please consult the documentation on github for instructions on how to prepare, activate, and manage your buy guide using our APIs.

Then, click "Upload file" and select your want list:

Once completed, click "Activate":

Please note: If bids are not included in your want list file you will be prompted to specify a percentage of list price that you would like to set your bids/prices at. See our 'Want list pricing' guide here for additional details.

Modifying a list

After your want list is live, you can always modify it. You have two ways to modify items. 

Replace a list

1. Click the "Pause bids" button. This will ensure that new orders are not created while you update your want list. 
2. Export a list of your current bids by clicking the "Export want list" link. Please note that orders in progress (i.e. orders that have already been matched to a seller) will not be included, as they can’t be changed.
3. Edit what remains of your want list. You can change quantities, prices, or add and remove ISBNs.
4. From your Source dashboard, click "Upload file". Select the updated want list. Follow the prompts to activate your new list.

When can I upload my want list?

• Any time after your account is registered.

Is there a limit to how large my want list can be?

• Want list files may contain up to 10,000 rows. If you have a want list with more than 10,000 rows, please email us at marketplace@valore.com
  

How do I pause my want list?

• To pause your want list, simply log in to your Source dashboard and click on the "Pause bids" button. This action will freeze your open bids so that no new orders can be created. Orders in progress will remain in progress and cannot be changed.

Can I run multiple want lists at the same time?

• Absolutely, our Multiple Want List feature allows you to upload and export up to five lists while being able to modify their names, shipping frequencies, and dates at any time before the shipment is scheduled. Shipment dates are set by you so there is no worry about the timing of your orders, and once each list is uploaded sourcing immediately starts.

Note: Please keep in mind that when the Pause button is clicked it will affect all uploaded lists!
