With ValoreBooks Marketplace Source as soon as your account is activated you become a buyer in our marketplace, uploading lists to source books directly from hundreds of bookstores, thousands of online sellers, and millions of students who sell their used textbooks with us.

Here are some helpful tips to get the most out of the program:

1. Leave time for us to receive, process, and ship your books. Because we are sourcing directly from students, stores, and sellers nationwide, we need a little bit more time to receive and process books than what you are used to buying off marketplaces. Once an order is placed we allow sellers 7 days to ship in their books to us, and then we need about 5 days to receive, process, and condition check those books ourselves. 

For buyers using the "Scheduled" frequency, we will automatically expire your guide 20 days before your ship date.

2. Keep your want list live as long as possible. This will expose you to the greatest number of potential sellers and make it easier to get the books you need.

3. Take advantage of peak buyback volume.  More books are available at the beginning and end of each semester when students and stores are more likely to be selling back their used books. If your want list is live during those times, you may find it easier to buy the books you want in the volume you need.
