What is ValoreBooks Source?

ValoreBooks Source allows you to easily become a buyer in our marketplace, unlocking the door to the millions of used books that we acquire from students, bookstores, and online sellers each year. With Source you become a buyer in our buyback marketplace and instantly get access to unique sources of inventory, with just one want list.

Our five sources of inventory:

1. Our national student Sellback program. Get access to the millions of students nationwide who visit ValoreBooks.com every year to get an instant price quote for their used textbooks.
2. ValoreBooks Stock Assist. Get access to the hundreds of bookstores and enterprise sellers who use Stock Assist to unload their excess inventory in a single transaction.
3. ValoreBooks Sell. Get access to the thousands of sellers who list their inventory for sale on the ValoreBooks.com Marketplace.
4. ValoreBooks Store Buyback. Get access to inventory offloaded by stores directly during the buyback process.
5. Third Party Marketplaces. Source also pulls inventory from additional textbook marketplaces, such as Alibris and AbeBooks.

With an easy-to-navigate interface, access to millions of sources of inventory, and consolidated shipping and invoicing, ValoreBooks Source is a unique program that will dramatically expand your access to used textbook inventory.

How does it work?

1. Tell us the ISBNs and quantities of the used books you are looking to buy.
2. Set a bid price that you are willing to pay for each ISBN.
3. We will source your inventory for you from our sourcing channels.
4. You can log into your account at any time to monitor your order statuses. You’ll have the ability to pause and adjust your active want list along the way.
5. All the used books that we are able to source for you will get sent to our warehouse, condition-checked, and held until you want them shipped to you.
6. Upon shipment we will send you an invoice, payable within 30 days.

Who are the current buyers in the ValoreBooks Source?

The entities currently buying in the ValoreBooks Source are other campus stores, large enterprise buyers, online merchants and wholesalers.

Does Source have any integrations with third-party systems?
